Bush's Meltdown Press Conference Yesterday

I get the feeling that he was advised by Rove NOT to do it. It served no purpose, it won over no one, it explained nothing. That, in every way, was bush unplugged. It was all him. Bumbling, mumbling, semi-lucid statements and wild-eyed recitations of talking points. I think he has been told by the enablers around him for so long that he is perfect in every way, that he believes he can rescue the Repug party all by himself. He doesn't know how toxic he is. It is being kept from him that Repugs just don't want him around when they're campaigning. Even if he is being partially told the truth, he is in denial. Here is a guy that thinks his bodily gases are blessed by Jesus. If Pugs lose the House and Senate, you will see a beaten, hollow man. He will retreat to his "ranch" and spend the rest of his miserable existance daydreaming about standing on a pile of rubble with a bullhorn.
