26. Baker in the administration? He doesn't have to be. Why mess
Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 06:01 PM by higher class
up his fortunes and wealth with a roadblack of laws when he is the numero uno lawyer to get the Bushes out of trouble and to find a way to save their behinds by manipulation of the laws? And it is not exactly like they can't pay him.

He prosecuted and fought to have a criminal act made official when he helped in the manipulation of shortcutting the recount in Florida - to start with. He didn't sit there and listen to others feed him methods and suggestions. He was probably the key person in 'talking' to Judge Rehnquist - to get the whole thing set up. He paved the way. Do you think he is innocent of the vote frauds?

Do you think he is innocent in the other thousand things that Bush has gone up against the law about - possibly even including the throwing out of the Geneva Convention? He undoubtedly works before the lawsuit as well as after.

He is a major Carlyle policy setter.

I can't believe you are kinda considering him as an honorable person. My opinion is not in sync with yours?

When someone writes the book about Baker - it won't be a single volume - it will be a multi-multi- volume set - if they uncover all the 'stuff' he has been involved in.

Prove me wrong, but I think the only thing decent about him is his suit. Just imo.
