6. I'm curious too.... I don't see any changes...

It's forgotten and done with.

It didn't result in more compassion.

Dems didn't even blink.

What changed was poor people became more hopeless.

That's about it.

The cuts continue, and "progressives" can't even be bothered to make phone calls about it.

Even the reported suicides of those who survived the superdome and the convention center didn't even cause a ripple here on DU.

So, I join you in asking... what changed?

I"d like to have some renewed hope, so help me to see what changed....
