Are we looking at desperation from this White House?

When the NSA story broke, Bush came out to tell everyone that the story was the "elections" in Iraq, not this story. Yet, three weeks later, it not only has legs, but it's a centipede. It has many legs.

Then, Bush goes down to Crawford for the Christmas holiday. Most everyone knows by now that Crawford is usually the place where they brainstorm their evil deeds. Yet, when they came back, all they had was the idea to investigate the "leaker" of the NSA "secrets". So, a month later, they are still pre-occupied by the NSA spying story. It ain't going away and they know it.

So what's their next move? Do they invite Senator Spector over to the White House for a little tete a tete? What will they attempt to bribe him with? Most everyone knows that also is part of their method of operation. However, from their obsession with this issue, even at Crawford, one might surmise they are in desperation mode. Beware...
