"...the staff officers were able to take the old routers in thier offices home with them or sell them on Ebay or other sites...." this is a federal crime--theft of government property. Can't you make a complaint? When I was peeling spuds in defense of my country it was common practice for Army cooks to take home the best stuff, leaving the scraps for troops. Someone In my company took pictures of the company cook loading meat into his car and reported it--the cook was busted and punished. Doesn't ANYONE in your unit have some kind of integrity? Or do they all just turn their heads and/or collude?
