8:00-11:00 pm: The State of the Union Address-Live!
WBAI brings you Verna Avery-Brown, Washington Bureau Chief, and Larry Bensky, Pacifica's National Affairs Correspondent, as they kick off Pacifica's national coverage at 8:00 pm, one hour before President Bush takes to the world stage to give his sixth State of the Union Address.

From 10:00-11:00 pm Pacifica guests will offer analysis and response.

WBAI's next-day local coverage starts with Wakeup Call, which will have an extended segment on the State of the Union from 7:10 to 7:40 am, taking listener calls, and playing excerpts. Guests include U.S. Rep. Charles Rangel and others.

At 9:00 am, Democracy Now! will have an analysis with Washington insiders, and feature Democratic response to President Bush's speech.

Hugh Hamilton assesses the domestic and foreign policy implications of the president's speech on Talkback!, starting at 3:00 pm. Guests include Lee Farris, senior tax policy analyst with the research organization United for a Fair Economy.
