Ex-Gays: According to right-wing spin machine CITIZEN

As though you have not already discussed this issue enough, Ex-Gays are according to CITIZEN magazine have turned on their own volition without the arm twisting and manipulation of anyone.
But, when someone does attend LWO (Love Won Out; a Focus On the Family group) which is for turning Homosexuals into sheeples, it also does take advantage of people when they are in weak moments of their life.

Now, I am not going that people dont have the right to change any course in their life, but they should not be lied to in order for any organization to gain more heads to contribute to their agenda. What I see misleading with LWO is that it tells a person that the way they are is not acceptable and wrong; or being who you are is an abomination to their invisable friend. I am an Atheist and even though I dont believe in religion and find it to be destructive I am not going to tell someone they should not practice spirituality. I will inject some points as to why its bad but then I will leave the decision up to that person; without the arm twisting to get them to do what I want or think the way I do. People can be religous, its when that religion turns into an extremist practice of misguided radicalism.

What the "Ex-Gay" issue shows me is that people are open to supression, sexual supression and are willingly walking into it. No matter, those who claim to be "Ex-Gays" will always be Gay it does not matter how hard they try to supress it, its always close to the surface and will in time come to light again. Denying who you are is very self-destructive and those who insist on their supression by misleading people with bible rhetoric and jeebus propaganda should not be taken no be taken seriously. This supression and convencing people not to accept themselves for who they are is part of the radical christian agenda, it all comes down to CONTROL. Control is the primary function of ANY religion.

Exodus International is part of the conversion of homosexuals and a group to keep your friends away from. GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network) is on the opposite end of the spectrum; headed by Kevin Jennings, GLSEN takes on the the Exodus International organizations by addressing their tactics of supression. Both, the GLSEN and Exodus International have no place going to schools to discuss their agandas.

People are more then welcome to change direction in their lives, but they should not feel they need to not be themselves when make those changes. If your Gay, as I am, great...If your straight, thats fine too.
