Can you name a left-wing MSM pundit?

Along with paid Democratic and Republican political consultants who appear regularly on MSM cable TV; CNN, MSNBC, FUX 'news' and other programming, one sees Right wing paid political pundits ("consultants") disseminating their point of view on a regular basis. Usually they will have a mainstream Democratic 'consultant' to offer the counterpoint. So, you have a strident, far-right pundit articulating their views against a moderate, more mild middle-of-the spectrum pundit. This moderate Democrat does not use the kind of hard-hitting language or the kind of attacks that his/her RW opponent usually does. But they are presented as spokesman for "Democrats" and "Republicans".

In my view, there is a real dearth of hard-left pundits to articulate the gross indecencies and incompetence of the B*sh Admin, and to block the below-the-belt verbal kicks and punches from Rwers disguised as 'Republicans' against their milder opponents. The MSM deliberately pits an ideologically centered Dem against a RW loon, time and time again.

Does anyone else agree? Can you name a left wing pundit that makes the rounds on the MSM? Katrina Van de Hueval editor of "The Nation" comes to mind, but I haven't seen her at all lately. Randi Rhodes made a few appearances on Dobbs, but had a bad experience there last time and said she won't be back. Keith Olbermann, host, is the only MSM forum friendly to our views. If a person doesn't watch KO, they don't hear it anywhere else.
