I would actually guess from the number of times when Kerry has said that they didn't understand the quality of Teresa's work or that they had her all wrong, that the one word to describe her is nurturing, that if as 2006 ends things look like they want to run again, they will carefully and naturally try to show these things.

So many of Teresa's projects were never really discussed other than in a few newspaper articles. There has to be a way to showcase some of that. It would seem easier to challange the view of who she is be getting publicity for some of the projects rather than arguing personality (which ends up sounding defensive). Then showing her for who she is will be easier.

It does seem like Teresa has gone to many of Kerry's speeches when he felt they were key major speechs - at the Georgetown one it, it seemed he emotionally was happy for her support. I loved the little reference to him in the Murtha op-ed. It makes sense that they each have a sense of wanting their private life to be private.
