Rick DiClemente's Starself Astrology Newsletter for November

Welcome to November. I’m not even sure I want to talk about this month. Things are heavy. Election Tuesday
sees transiting Uranus exactly opposite transiting Saturn. Left vs. Right. May we keep cooler heads and see it as
Left and Right. Then, El Pluto makes its final ingress into Capricorn on Thanksgiving Eve. There it will stay for
16 years. You can easily see the effects of turbulent Pluto shaking us to our very foundations. They need shaken,
but hopefully, not too hard - and that the rebuilding phase will be effective and prompt.
Dealing with Pluto is hard, never easy, but usually easy to understand: “Sweeping changes are needed - real ones,
with no BS.” It’s that simple. If we think that we’re going to get away with just patching things, such as Wall
Street, it won’t work.

WASHINGTON, AP, Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said 10/23/08
the current financial crisis is a “once-in-a-century credit tsunami” which will have
a severe impact on the U.S. economy, driving unemployment higher”…“Our regu-
lators became enablers rather than enforcers. Their trust in the wisdom of the mar-
kets was infinite. The mantra became that government regulation is wrong. The
market is infallible.” In his testimony, Greenspan put the blame for the sub-prime
collapse on over-eager investors who did not properly take into account the threats
that would be posed once home prices stopped surging upward.”

“Flippant”, “over-eager” - all the down-side of Pluto in Sagittarius. So many people
have called to ask me what I think will happen with Pluto going into
Capricorn the day before Thanksgiving. I don’t know. I, like most
people, don’t like what I see. Like Capricorn, we have to pick
ourselves up by the bootstraps, see what is really in front of us
(instead of what we want to see), and go to work fixing
things. However, it’s more like 2 and a half centuries.

May we find lighter moments all throughout November too and may you have a great Turkey Day.
And SINCE things are so intense right now, I’ve decided to write about NOTHING BUT FUN STUFF!
(Of course this is all done in harmless fun.)

Time to Fill the Cabinet

I decided to pick my own Astrological Cabinet since it’s election time.
You may have other ideas, but here are a few to chew on (some positions are doubled):

Aries: Dept. of Defense, or better yet, Dept. of Offense
Taurus: Agriculture, Interior, Labor, Treasury, Dept. of Cash
Gemini: Transportation, Commerce, Dept. of Alterations
Cancer: Homeland Security, HUD, Dept. of Family Values
Leo: State, President, King or Queen
Virgo: Bureau of ATF, Labor, Veteran Affairs, Chastity Records
Libra: State Dept., Commerce, Justice, White House Beauty Salon
Scorpio: CIA, NSA, FBI, Dept. of We-Don’t-Really-Exist-Department
Sagittarius: Transportation, Education, Dept. of Credit (Temporarily closed)
Capricorn: President, Supreme Court Justice, Dept. of Real Old Stuff
Aquarius: State, DOE, Dept. of Redundancy Department
Pisces: Dept. of Peace, Health and Human Services, Dept. of Retired Hippies
