On a very few occasions in life I believe I have experienced something like this. It is easy to chalk it up to my memory differing from that of others involved, but the instances are so much stronger than that. One is something that has nipped at my mind for years. I have a distinct memory of my Grandmother taking me to eat on several occasions to a restaurant near where she lived that now seems to never have existed. It could be a dream, or some mental twist particular to me, but I keep going back to the very vivid memory of the place, and now it just seems like it couldn't have been there, in that building. And the choices for a location are very limited as my Grandmother did not drive and it was just me and her. No other family member has ever referenced the existence of this restaurant.
