- It pleases me so that today so many people are being exposed to and coming to know about Bill Hicks. Because back in the day he was too prescient for his times for most. I believe that he was a Speaker who came so that people would laugh and yet still think about the TRUTH in life. Much of what he said then is now coming true today -- right before our very eyes. He came to point out The Way when many were afraid to let his light shine so brightly. Yet now many are beginning to see the brilliance of his light.
