Is this a sign that I should stop using Windows?

I got a message that there were Windows updates available, so I opened up Internet Explorer and tried to go to the Microsoft site.

The thing is, I couldn't go there, or anyplace else, using Internet Explorer. I've been using Firefox for a few months, and I like it, so I have no reason to use IE except to pick up the Windows updates.

So should I just download the latest version of IE and pick up the Windows updates? Or is this a sign that I shouldn't use Windows anymore?
