I'm with you, I'm not sure what to make of this new "Mercury in Vaccines" theory, but I think this would be a good place for logical debate, but keep in mind what I said originally, this issue (Autism) affects a lot of the D.U. members who's families are impacted by it. So let's all try to keep it civil for their sake.

Personally, I think has more to do with Industrial Pollution of the Air and Water supply. California is heavily effected by Autism, and not coincidentally, also by increasing Air pollution and dwindling Water supplies.

My theory on the Water supply connection has to do with the aging California Water Reservoirs. As they age, they accumulate Silt, which I would be willing to bet contains heavy concentrations of industrial contaminates. Plus we all know about the problem with Washington D.C. aging water delivery pipes (leaching lead).
