Maybe at Newport. Sorry but Wimbledon no longer qualifies and I can barely pay attention. It's the equivalent of 3 point garbage in college basketball. You can tell it's a bogus final when the men's champion never serves and volleys until the next to last point.

Like McEnroe said, who could have believed when Ivanisevic won 10 years ago that baseliners would have control of Wimbledon within a few years. He blamed it on the new type of grass. I think it's lazy players. Regardless, it's perhaps 10% as compelling.

Two weeks ago several posters on this forum were denouncing the US Open golf tournament because it didn't resemble the typical set up. That was perhaps a 10% shift. Where is the similar outrage toward Wimbledon, which has declined to such absurdity that the grass is absolutely pristine at the edge of the service box?
