I know, I know. But every time she opens her mouth she seals the deal, the woman has a screw loose.

=====

In between half-hearted attempts at storming off "Larry King Live" and testy appearances on "The View," Carrie Prejean spoke to Christianity Today about her breast implants, why she's not homophobic, and what it means to be a Christian beauty queen.

We've taken the liberty of bolding the good parts.

On whether or not breast implants are "compatible" with the Christian faith:

No, I don't think there's anything wrong with getting breast implants as a Christian. I think it's a personal decision. I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it says you shouldn't get breast implants.

On beauty pageants:

I think you can be a Christian and compete in a pageant. I think you can be a Christian and be a model. It depends on how you act as that role, and if you remember who you are and you remember what you stand for and stay true to who you are, you can be in any job. Just don't compromise what you believe in.

On why it's not hypocritical to tout "Christian" values in spite of topless photos and underage sex tapes:

No one's perfect. You're not perfect, I'm not perfect. Everyone's made mistakes. So if people want to judge me and say that I'm not a good person because of something I did when I was young, that's their problem. But what really matters is who I am now. We as Christians need to stick together and realize that the Enemy is powerful, and that there are so many people out there who will try and destroy good people. It's a crazy world, that's all I can say.

Also, in case you were wondering:

I've never said that I hated gays. I have friends who are gay. I have hairdressers who are gay.

All emphasis ours.
