Are you a progressive candidate or campaign manager seeking to run an effective, successful campaign? Then sign up by March 15 for Progressive Majority and Wellstone Action’s Advanced Campaign Management and Candidate School, to be held April 25-27 in Seattle.
Our Advanced Campaign Management and Candidate School is three exciting days of intense campaign training for progressives who either know the basics or need a crash course for their 2008 campaigns! To register, send your resume and/or a letter explaining why you wish to participate to WAintern1 {at} progressivemajority.org.
This training is designed for current and future campaign professionals who are ready to work hard to become leaders in the progressive community but need the tools to manage and win campaigns. Many of Progressive Majority's elected officials got their start at Wellstone trainings and can vouch for their effectiveness in preparing potential candidates to run on their progressive values and win on the issues.
Candidates - Learn the fundamentals of campaigning, including developing your stump speech, contacting voters, fundraising, and more. Campaign Managers - Learn the fundamentals of campaign management, including how to manage candidates and volunteers, develop and execute a field program and budget, deal with crises, and more.
You may have already attended a Camp Wellstone introductory training, but this three-day session will be your advanced education. The training will be held in Federal Way and runs all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 25-27. There are a limited number of slots available and each year we must turn people away. The registration deadline is March 15!
In order to be considered, simply send us your resume and/or a letter explaining why you wish to participate in the Advanced Campaign Management and Candidate School.
Please send your materials by March 15 to WAintern1@progressivemajority.org.
A $150 registration fee helps cover the cost of lodging and meals during the training. We have a small number of scholarships available to low-income or unemployed participants.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kristina Logsdon at 206-443-5566.
