Think of it: A health care bill covering our nation. Both Roosevelts wanted it; Truman fought for it; Johnson got some of it; Clinton tried but failed.
President Obama got it through the House, even in the face of opposition from Dems who apparently take their marching orders from Rush. It's a long way from being law, admittedly. The first thing the Senate Dems have to do is reject Grassley utterly. He is a cancer. Then, use this momentum to ram it home. Many here oppose it. I know it's not perfect, but it's still a good day to be a Dem, and an American. Certainly imperfect. That said, Shall we dance?  |
