Two obvious solutions to awaken the slow economy: Gay Marriage AND Legalizing Hemp

If we really cared about the economy and wanting to have the full entrepreneurial spirit kept alive and provide more jobs for people, make more people follow their American dream and make for a rejuvenated economy in areas of the country that need help, there would be no greater solution from an economic standpoint than to nationally make Gay Marriage legal as well as make marijuana and all of its byproducts legal.

It's so obvious and anyone who disagrees is IN THE WAY! We want new businesses! We want more jobs! We can help get rid of the mounting debt by having more opportunities to pay taxes to bring the deficit down.

So what jobs would there be?

If we made Gay Marriage legal, not only is it fair but the marriage industry would blossom. More business for the travel industry for weddings and honeymoons, more business for catering and hotel parties, more legal work setting up marriage agreements, more reasons to have more people buy furniture/housewares and even the photography business would flourish. Combined, all of these opportunities and others would be a multi-billion dollar industry.

If we make marijuana legal, tobacco companies in the South would flourish with new products. The tourism industry would flourish with destinations that cater to the marijuana aficionado, who would then make the restaurant and entertainment industries have a brand new sector to brand and market. For areas where logging has been cut back, growing hemp to make paper, building material and other byproducts would make these areas boom economies. For medicinal reasons, clearly allowing people to buy marijuana products would make for a new business sector providing jobs and the entrepreneurial spirit. Perhaps people would decide to stop drinking alcohol and even make the roads safer. There is nearly no documented case of a person who was driving that caused a car accident while high on marijuana. Even if there was, the events would absolutely dwarf what reckless danger alcohol has been inflicted on the public at large.

TRUE capitalists would look at both of these market sectors with open eyes and see REAL entrepreneurial opportunities that help America. Not only would it show we are a tolerate nation, it would even make international tourism into this country flourish. We are talking billions and billions of dollars that await those with the energy to embrace the American capitalist system.

Anyone who is against these entrepreneurial opportunities must not love America and must not want people to be able to have more jobs or their own businesses. They are enemies of capitalism and should be called out on their willingness to deprive the American spirit!
