78. You are absolutely right.
There is a lot of anger in here right now. Some of it is justified, and some of it isn't.

What is getting old is the false allegations of "you are telling me to stfu"

I have read thread after thread... and the ONLY instances I have seen are GLBT members saying people are telling them that; but I'm not seeing anyone actually saying it.

We are not a 100% or nothing society.

We never have been and never will be. (and no... I'm not referring to you directly)

And I am sick of hearing I'm wither with you 100% or against you 100%

Sorry, that doesn't fly. That is just not how this country, or world for that matter, works.

The vast majority of people of people at Du agree that Warren should not be giving the prayer. And you would thank that would be good enough. But the fact that many are trying to say... well, maybe Obama knows what he is doing, and maybe some good CAN come from it... that has quite a few member of the GLBT community outraged.

Intelligent people can disagree on certain aspects of an issue.

Open minded people are willing to look at the bigger picture.

You won't find any threads on here where people say they object to equal rights. But what you will find are a lot of pissed off people looking for one word in a thread to pounce on. And no... that's not my way of "blaming the gays" I'm talking about whoever is doing it; regardless of the position.

The sad thing is that it's not like this is a board with republicans and democrats. We are all democrats, and we aren't really that far off on any issue. It just seems like it because too many people have their blinders on.
