That said, your OP raises an interesting question. I did notice that she seemed a little thick around the middle in the footage of the 'cheesesteak gaffe'--- however, my first thought was if she had another moose in the oven. Those Palins are nothing if not fertile.

I don't know if she's on any 'cocktails' but I predict a MASSIVE amount of cocktails-- both the drug and alcohol kind-- will be required to sit through the barrage of BS that will invade our TV screens beginning at 9pm tonight.
