Respectfully, I have a long history of participation on the site, so YOU (or "we-all") do not know what "motivates" me. If you have lived through at least the 2004 election cycle, you can see how the GOP turns shit into treasure. I am the realist here.

This additive structure is entirely gratuitous, a distraction, the fact that it's been the subject of so much discussion/debate on the internet and has spawned what is only the beginning of a media feeding frenzy. Are YOU that naive?

This is purely self-inflicted. The stadium itself is a magnificent, historic backdrop for what is to be an unprecedented nomination ceremony. The "stage set" is artifical and looks silly.

My opinion. You need to treat others here who disagree with you with a little more civility.
