43. OK PTSD from 'Nam, but it does not explain his behavior at
the Naval Academy where his nickname was "McNasty" for being a mean SOB. More likely the result of his upbringing as a primadonna, aloof little brat, above it all - where he did not have to study to get into Anapolis, let alone perform while there. His daddy and grandaddy - the admirals, always protected him. Now, with his wife's fortune, he is immune from needing to exhibit the normal social graces to get along with other people in the workplace and other settings that most of us had to learn. He doesn't even treat her well in public - he must be a bastard in private. My elderly mother-in-law has long referred to him as "that Nasty Little Man" and she never knew his old nickname.

He has been mistreating people for a long time, before and after the Hanoi Hilton. So, this is a man who is personally widely disliked, by the people closest to him, like Republicans and devout Christians who will not come out in droves to vote for him. Obama will win 54% to McCain 41% with 5% for independents.
