109. Relief
that we CAN finally get on with it, is all I feel.

I welcome working with Hillary supporters but I don't easily forget HRC's scorched earth campaign. Where there once was admiration for her, there's none now. Hillary had no choice but to concede. She was going to be run out on a rail if she didn't. She made a good exit speech, I give her that. There was a bit too much emphasis on the glass ceiling --when she herself was anointed and NOT expected to lose. But those words gave lip service to the challenges faced by women candidates anyway. I sincerely wish that the first serious woman candidate for president had not taken the low road and I think she got her just desserts for doing that.

So while in sympathy with those who are still repulsed by Hillary's dirty campaign, and in need of a little time to shift gears after such a needlessly bloody battle, I do agree with the call for unity now.
