ferraro and bentson was somewhat surprises and bombed, especially ferraro. gore did well, leiberman was a drab choice.

there is so much enthusiasm and support for Edwards, just because you don't see it in whatever town you live doesn't mean it's not there. It's there in the polls, it was there in the primary results. He was 2nd only to Kerry.

Edwards is a different case, you can't really compare him to anything. If there was ever a time to buck the traditional "surprise vp" pick, now is the time.
