Think of it as a race of automobiles. Victory is determined by location, not velocity, and not by acceleration. Hillary has the best location now, lately though her velocity has dropped tremendously. Obama still isn't ahead yet, he's just closing fast. Thus she is still the front runner.
Can she punch the gas or not?
