Obama and let's say, Daley, or somebody.

It won't help when we all find out that Rezko isn't an Eastern European name, but is Syrian-Lebanese. That's right--Rezko is a scarey ARAB!!! I don't think he's muslim, but you can hear it now, anyway.

When Obama announced, I wondered if there would be any Chicago Machine mud that would stick to him. Historically, Chicago has had a reputation as the U.S. city second in corruption only to New Orleans, and as Fitzpatrick will demonstrate, some of it is still there.

I think that things have improved, but older voters at least probably remember its reputation--and the first Mayor Daly at the '68 convention. Those are not happy thoughts.
