9. Saying one would put a generic Republic in the cabinet is one thing.
Believe it or not, folks, there are some decent Republicans out there, and putting such a person in a minor cabinet position might not be a bad idea, assuming it was the type of Republican who could work with a progressive administration. Olympia Snow, for instance, would be a possibility who would free up another seat in the Senate which looks as though it will be blue once she steps aside.

On the other hand the Arnold and Colin Powell are too much a part of the dark side to be allowed into a Democratic administration. To even suggest taking either of them is pandering of the worst sort.
