21. your avatar's a dead guy, why should he take down Dean?
why should he take down his Dean poster when you've got a pic of a dead guy on yours? Maybe leaving Dean up there will make some of you think about WHY we supported Dean - and why so many Dean supporters will probably now vote for Nader (present company excluded though). But honestly, what will it take for the DNC and the party in general to wake up and realize that running someone just two shades of gray lighter than dubya will NOT make people come out and vote?? Did we learn NOTHING from 2000?? People who never even voted before have supported Dean in this campaign, and many supported Nader in the last one. Destroying Dean only made them that much more disenfranchised. I'm sorely tempted to vote my conscience this time, and then vote with my feet and move to Canada the day after.
