That brings us to our original point of departure. The INTENT by Chamblis was to smear someone's patriotism. Chambliss has been vigorously challenged in this thread for that reason.

The majority here have suggested that Chambliss is essentially an asshole for what he is doing -- and properly so.

If you don't like Senator Kerry, don't vote for him. If Chambliss wants to smear his patriotism, he should have the nuts to do it to Kerry's face. Otherwise, we could do without the cowardly media stunts by less-than-one-term Senators.

Chambliss lacks the moral rudder to throw mud at a vet.
