3. It really is a shame
There are few things I like better than politics. I guess I am a glutton for punishment, but I was hardwired that way. I am the product of four generations of yellowdog democrats.

For me, it goes back to the age of seven, when I stood in the parking lot of a shopping center with my parents to listen to a campaign speech by John Kennedy in 1960.


We are all passionate about our politics or we wouldn't be on this site, and that's good.

I was just hoping for some thoughtful and civil discourse on issues and differences. Maybe we can come together in time.

Our cause is too important to give up on. Please try and hang in there.
