19. Bright side to Republican rule

If things play out the way I'm thinking, our economy is going to have a double-dip recession. And the second dip will make the first one look like a pothole compared to the Grand Canyon. If the 'thugs hold on to power in '04, it will be crystal clear to Joe Sickspak who is to blame, and it is not part of Bill Clinton's anatomy.

Democrats will be put into power to see us through, as they did in the '30s.

I know it will be a miserable two years, watching our court system get packed with Klan sympathizers, the environment turned into a planet-sized toxic waste dump, etc. etc.
