18. I dislike her for President, I don't hate or dislike her as a person
and most of this stems from formally really, really liking her as a potential presidential candidate before she ever ran for the US senate.

Then she ran and won in the nearby state of NY where a lot of my family live/lived. Her positions did not live up to what I though was her earliest of visions- especially those in health care. Then, I distinctly recall her big bad speech in the senate before giving in to Mr. Bush. Paraphased, but acurate was her, "you'll be sorry if you're lying to us, Mr. Bush. We'll give you all this power, meanwhile, but we'll hold you accountable" speech. It fucking ripped my heart out right from THAT point. I then knew that she and so many others decided it wasn't so bad pissing all over us after-all. She must have been initiated into some group-think mindset... a pod person.

If she's trying to be all things to all parties now for the run, in other words, trying to nod-nod, wink-wink to convince those of us who are disgusted with her that her metamorphosis into a pod person neo conservatism hybrid is only a lark, and she'll really save our ass... well, I'm not taking my chances with that. I'm doing everything I can to get my local talk shows, newspapers and discussion groups like this to THINK about this.

You've got to ask yourself... do you really want to enter into a nod-nod, wink-wink trusting relationship for the future of this nation as a result of that kind of subterfuge?

I don't. That's why I no longer trust pod people.

But, hey- thank you for allowing me this time to answer your question.
