..but his stance on the war is most likely not a popular one at DU. He's got a Jewish background and (I think) a PhD on Mid-East relations or something. I would recommend his articles in the NY Times as "required reading" as his thinking basically shapes the political discussion for the next week.
He supports nation building as something which extremely liberal people like himself should support. He looks for solutions to Iraq, not merely assigning blame, which is why I am a HUGE fan of his.
