Arguments against voting for third parties, Nader, etc. frequently boil down to denying people choices. This is a surefire way to make enemies, especially when people already feel disempowered by the system.

IMHO to make a decent argument against a third party, supporters of the Democratic nominee need to make a case that voting for the Dem is a better choice, without denying the person's right to make the other choice. For me, four more years of Bush is enough motivation, but watching a million Nader flamefests has convinced me that not all share my outlook.

Also I was getting a little tired of the calls for unity. I support Kerry's candidacy, but at least let him earn it!
