5. Vote your issues
Just like Sen. Wellstone asked people to do. I think the biggest difference between Kerry and Bush is that Kerry is taller. Kerry is not capable of independent thought, he needs an opinion poll to tell him how to think. Voted for Bush things 70% of the time, became anti-Bush when he saw how much it was doing for Dean. Kerry will need a 95% Dem congress to be effective. If it is anywhere near 50% he will not be capable of a decision, he needs an opinion poll and congress will be his poll if he gets elected. His independent thought has led to 1% of his material even being voted on. 99% of his proposals don't even make it to a vote, hence most of his thoughts go nowhere.

"There is one lesson I have learned that I hold above all others from my experience as a father, teacher, community organizer, and U.S. senator: We should never separate the lives we live from the words we speak. To me, the most important goal is to live a life consistent with the values I hold dear and to act on what I believe in."

Sen. Paul Wellstone, "The conscience of a Liberal - Reclaiming the Compassionate agenda"
