My wife and I sat behind Elizabeth and Emma Clare as Dad gave his speech and took questions. I spent most of my time watching Emma as she tried to be still but just couldn't. She totally broke me up when she slyly put her hand in front of the camera lens as a photographer knelt next to my wife. Then she slyly pulled it away and put it back.
I cried to myself when I thought of Emma and her Mom's illness.
Emma called her Dad over to remind him that there were people behind him also that had questions.
After the speech Emma and Elizabeth chatted and with folks as if they were old friends.
My good friend the former Hillary supporter says he has only been affected by two people in his life - Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Edwards.
