29. I know that epiphany well
Wes Clark helped pound it through my dense skull when he moved to endorse Kerry so soon after withdrawing. If the guys we want can't make it, we have to back the guy who will. If I put it this way: will I support, Bush, the Democrat, or a third party candidate, I chose the Democrat, and I reluctantly had to a concede that the process this year, flawed as it definitely is, is delivering Kerry as that Democrat.

I have shifted from being primarily Pro-Clark, to Anti-Bush, with Kerry as the means to oust the Shrub. Such is life it seems.
