Why I have decided to support John Kerry.

Well the Clark campaign is over and even before it ended, I was at peace with Kerry.

How can a died-in-the-wool Clarkie support IWR Kerry you ask (maybe you didn't ask, but humor me here)?

First and foremost, he is the front runner by a mile. The only one with hope of catching him is Edwards. As far as I am concerned Edwards built his campaign on a "I can win the south" position. This week ended that with a bang and a thud.

Dean is all but over, and even though he is my personal favorite, I think he has been hurt by not winning even one state in the primaries. He bet the farm on Iowa and NH and lost. And the changing of his staff is too little, too late for most voters.

Kerry is a liberal at heart and mind. His voting record, as the rethugs are loving to say, is to the left of Kennedy. In short, John Kerry is an electable liberal. Something I didn't think I would see in my lifetime.

I love Wes Clark, I will always love Wes because he got me excited about politics again. He made me believe that together we could make a difference. I hope Kerry picks him for VP, but even if he doesn't Kerry now has me, heart and soul.
