When asked in an open-ended question who they plan to support in the 2008 presidential campaign, 57 percent of respondents said they did not know or it was too early to tell. Of those who named candidates, 10 percent said they plan to support Hillary Clinton, 9 percent plan to support Barack Obama, 8 percent plan to support John Edwards and 5 percent plan to support Rudy Giuliani. Candidates John McCain, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney and Al Gore were each named by 1 percent of those polled.

As someone in North Carolina I'd agree most nonpolitical junkies don't yet have a strong favorite.
