17. A great American leader
I've always been a Democrat, but I didn't become an activist until the day General Clark declared his candidacy. There was just something about getting involved for the first time with somebody who also was new to politics. We set up Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders for Clark and got many new people to become politically involved and active. We will continue this work and I have high hopes for the next 8 months.

I've had such a positive experience working with all the other Clark supporters and I'm so proud of the message and vision that General Clark presented to the country. Despite the decision to by-pass Iowa, some early mistakes, and really poor media coverage, General Clark's favorables were always very high. He also contributed immensely to the Democratic message and gave the most effective critique of the Bush administration's handling of foreign policy. He will no doubt continue to serve his country and help bring about the real changes that need to be made in America.

I will never forget taking a photo with him in the alley behind Clarke's after the Rock the Vote forum in Boston, freezing out in Concord for his registering as a candidate, the opening of the Manchester office, or his visit to the Dover DraftClark office. And I will always be proud of the fact that I volunteered for his campaign. I think most Clark supporters share this sentiment.

Now we're going to reorganize and move on out to kick the Bush and company out of the White House!
