Best Clark Call Last Night
Advertisements [?]
I phone banked at Nashville Headquarters for Clark last night before going over to the Sheraton for his final rally before today's primary.

One of my calls reached the typical "little old lady", shaky voice type - I would guess late 70's.

"Are you planning on voting for General Clark"

"I'm not sure but maybe. Him or Edwards. The important thing is to get that......that........that SOB outta office! We can ship HIM to Mars! AND HE CAN TAKE HIS MOTHER WITH HIM!"

Damn that was sweet!

The rally was GREAT. I got to talk to Gert and Wesley and had a great conversation with Major Pat Williams about women in the military. I asked Clark for fetal tissue research and he held my hand and and got cheek to cheek so he could speak right in my ear (it was very loud in there), "We'll get it done!"

He signed ACLYouth's ACLU card right under Al Gore's signature from a couple of years ago.

It was a great night.

To everyone who came to Tennessee from out of state to help Clark - THANK YOU. It's going to be another long day but I'm crossing my fingers.
