22. If an investor can decline to invest in tobacco stocks he or she
can decline to invest in WalMart stocks. It is not an exercise in "micro-manageing" to specify that you don't want your money used to support an exploitative, anti-union and community-disruptive firm any more than it was to refuse to invest in South Africa or in the deforestation of the Amazon rain forest.

This is at least an embarrassment to the Kerry campaign, and in particular as he attempts to portray himself as the voice of the working man.
