One Mr. Marshall of the DLC has just outed himself as a branch of the PNAC crowd.

All DLC-backed candidates told bush 'I got yer back', believing or pretending to believe the lies and hype about the WMD threat from Iraq, and voting for the IWR.

The vastly corrupt soft-money system was ushered in under the administration of DLC darling Bill Clinton.

We're now being told by all manner of 'experts' and supposedly knowledgable people that the only way to win elections is money, money, money. Nothing about ideas. Nothing about progress. Nothing about real change for the better. Just donate some money and STFU.

I'm beginning to think it's already too late. Two of the three frontrunners are DLC-approved. Two others have tenuous ties to the same organization.

Is it too late? Have corporations taken control completely? All signs seem to point to YES.

on edit: There is also a new direction in the party - refrain from defending civil rights for gays, support global corporate rule via WTO & NAFTA, end our duty to support the less fortunate (Welfare Reform), etc. etc. etc.

Things are not well with this party. Not at all.
