29. Well, I don't think he's a Republican.
He's obviously better than Schlesinger. People are being ignorantly disingenuous when they claim otherwise. The sheer insanity of believing that that's not so has done more to turn me off to Lamont than anything; we need to get more of what we want, not act out of craziness and lies.

And I know almost nothing about Lamont due to the sheer superficiality of the rhetoric pushed by his supporters here as well. And his supporters haven't gained him much in my eyes due to tactics like the one this thread's about, or, as I've mentioned, the repeated equation of Lieberman with the Republicans. People who say things like that, I have trouble believing.

The last polls I've seen give the undecideds a bigger percentage than Lamont in a two-way race against Schlesinger, with Schlesinger getting 20% in that race as opposed to the three-way Lieberman/Lamont/Schlesinger race where he'd get 8%. So it seems Lamont helps the Republicans somewhat. And first and foremost, I am against the Republicans, especially chairing committees.
