15. I don't agree that Wes should get out!

I haven't had a chance to vote for him yet! Wes came in 3rd in NH, and is set to place that well or better in most of the Feb 3rd states. Absentee ballots may give Wes a big boost in AZ, OK, and NM, and I don't think they will all be counted today. Wes is competitive in VA and TN, and Kerry is just starting to endure the blazing glare of the media. Lieberman is about to drop out, and Wes is the most likely to pick up most of his support--such as it is. Dean's support is dwindling, and Wes is the sole anti-Iraq war proponent other than Dean. The anti-Iraq war message needs to continue to have a superb candidate to vote for.

Any candidate will have to endure a long hard slog to win this nomination, and I have faith in the General. He is our last, best hope for peace. Leaving the race in protest won't help correct the abuses of the media, it will only tell them again that they can do whatever they want and get away with it.

Buck up, Wes Jr.! Your Dad IS the hero you knew he was, when you asked him to get into the race.
