Like the MAJORITY of DU members, my favorite candidate failed to win the nomination.
And not fairly- major newspapers were cropping him out of photos months ago,
while they were still referring to Hillary as "inevitable".

And I'm hardly alone- the MAJORITY of us DUers were rooting for someone who WASN'T Barack Obama
back when this primary started.

Edwards, Richardson, Gravel...do those names ring any bells?
And my memory ain't the best, but I kinda recall that there
were a few other candidates too...all of whom were good folks
who would have been decent Presidents. Any one of them would have been
a MAJOR improvement over the utterly CRIMINAL incompetence of the
last 7 years.
They all LOST. Every last one.

Hillary doesn't have any exclusive copyright on "losing to Barack Obama";
-ALL- of our preferred candidates lost to Barack Obama.

And that's something we would all do well to REMEMBER now that the primary is OVER,
and now that the contest that truly HOLDS THE FUTURE OF OUR PLANET is currently underway.

I'm just sayin'. :shrug:

Richard
