At least he is acting like he is "in the game" and "trying to move the ball down the field" to use a football metaphor. He has hung on to the email list he collected in the presidential campaign and is pressing some issues. Of late it is health care for children.

To win, you have to act like you want to win, and John Kerry is keeping an "opposition party" platform together, rather like the out-of-power party in a parliamentary system does. He is running for President, and I don't see anybody else doing the same.

As bush* careens into the gutter of history, at least there is an alternative view to follow.
