2. Same Old Detroit Attitude
Once again American auto companies are failing to innovate and are failing to prepare for the end of the internal combustion engine era. It's not just "greens" and progressives who are looking askance at US auto makers. The resident auto columnist at Forbes magazine (Forbes! A conduit for neo-con propaganda! Hardly parlor pink reading material!) has been excoriating US auto makers for their failure to innovate and their failure to attend to building a better automobile.

US auto makers seem to believe neo-con propaganda that says that if they ignore enviornmental concerns, the people voicing those enviornmental concerns will just go away.

Ford's shareholders should tell the suits to reassess their thinking.
