we can role back many of Bush's tax cuts. Perhaps we can also enact tax surcharges on large capital gains, high incomes and huge estates sufficient to reimburse the U.S. treasury for the irresponsible tax cuts currently in effect, plus interest.

I'm sure all economists would have a heart attack at that one, but I can dream, can't I?
